Registering for a NorthShoreConnect Account

You can register for a new NorthShoreConnect account through the mobile app or at NorthShoreConnect.org.

I am unable to create an account using my Access Code

Please confirm that:

  • You included dashes in the access code and social security number.
  • You typed your date of birth in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy.
  • Your username is at least 6 characters long.
  • Your password is at least 6 characters long and has a combination of letters and numbers.
  • You did not include spaces in any of the fields.

If you are still unable to create an account using your Access Code, try creating a new account using our online sign up process by clicking the “Sign Up Now” button.

I am unable to create a new account using the online sign up process

If you are unable to create a new account using the online sign up process, you can:

  • Request an access code from your care provider.
  • Ask your care team about setting up a NorthShoreConnect account directly during your next office visit.
  • Call our support line at (847) 425-3900

I am unable to log into my account in the browser

Clear your browser cache following the instructions provided below:

I forgot my username

Use the username recovery form. Your username will be sent to the email address we have on file.

I forgot my password

Reset your password using the password recovery form.

I forgot my password and my security questions

My account is disabled

There are a few simple things that you can do to ensure that your account remains as secure as possible.

Create strong passwords

The easiest and most important way that you can ensure that your account is safe is to create and use strong passwords. We recommend:

  • Using a new, unique password.
  • Using at least 12 characters in length.
  • Using combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Refraining from using names.
  • Using something easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
  • Changing your password every few months.

Two-Step Verification

We recommend everyone use the Two-Step Verification feature, which helps keep your account secure even if someone has your password.

When you first register your account and log in to the NSC mobile app or website, NorthShoreConnect website and mobile app will prompt you to enable two-step verification. If you opted out at registration, you can enable two-step verification by completing the following steps:

  1. Open your Menu.
  2. Select the Security Settings submenu.
  3. Select the Enable Two-Step Verification button.
  4. Follow prompts to verify email/phone number.
